Arctic Sea Ice Age Climate Data Record Version 2.1 (monthly)

This climate data record of sea ice age is obtained from sea ice drift and conentration OSI SAF products. The processing chain features: 1) Lagrangian advection of ice age fractions, 2) Weighted averaging of fractions. The following SIC and SID products were used to produce the dataset: Sea Ice Concentration Climate Data Record Version 3 (SMMR, SSM/I, and SSMIS) from the EUMETSAT OSI SAF, DOI: 10.15770/EUM_SAF_OSI_0013 Interim Sea Ice Concentration Climate Data Record Version 3 from the EUMETSAT OSI SAF, DOI: 10.15770/EUM_SAF_OSI_0014 Global Sea Ice Drift Climate Data Record Version 1 from the EUMETSAT OSI SAF, DOI: 10.15770/EUM SAF OSI 0012 Daily Low Resolution Sea Ice Displacement from OSI SAF EUMETSAT, DOI: 10.15770/EUM_SAF_OSI_NRT_2007 All intellectual property rights of the Sea Ice Age product belong to NERSC.
