资源简介:
This repository contains the research data for the paper: "Wave-inspired path-planning strategy for support-free horizontal overhangs in FDM". See the paper for additional details on g-code generation using the grasshopper script, as well as methodology for the characterization. Below follows an explanation of the files and folders in the repository. \3d scan files This folder contains the files that relate to sagging characterization of the mono-layer samples. For each measured sample there is: an .stl file, which is the 3d scanned mesh; a .zinspect file which is the Zeiss Inspect file; and a .csv file, which contains the deviation points exported from Zeiss Inspect. The nomenclature of the file names indicates which strategy was used (arc or wave), which shape it is (easy, medium, hard), and which replication it is (1-3). \G-code This folder contains the .gcode files used for printing samples. The mono-layer sample .gcode use the nomenclature 'strategy difficulty.gcode'. The start g-code sequence used for printing is included in 'a1m start routine.gcode', and the demonstrator sample is 'demonstrator.gcode'. \demonstrator.stl The CAD model of the demonstrator sample, used for slicing it. \Print order.xlsx The randomized order for printing the mono-layer samples. \wave overhangs.gh The grasshopper script used to generate wave overhang samples. The algorithm applies the principles of wave propagation as described by Huygens, by modeling wavefronts as the combination of circles emenating from each point of the current wavefront. Wavefronts are recursively produced using a loop function, for which the Pufferfish plug-in is required.
