The production of digital maps of the Useful Reservoir (RU) of the soils in Languedoc Roussillon is the result of a collaboration between BRL and UMR LISAH (INRAE Montpellier) in the framework of the CIFRE thesis of Quentin Styc (2017-2020).The map represents the useful reservoir of the soil up to a depth of 2 m. The RU data provided to nodes of a 90mx90 m grid are of two orders: * A predicted value * A width of confidence interval (P=90 %) around this value estimating prediction uncertainty The method used to produce these data follows an original approach to numerical multivariate soil mapping detailed in Quentin Styc’s thesis and in a scientific paper published in the international journal of soil sciences Geoderma (references below).
