The People of Aucará (1760–1921): A Dataset of Individuals Reconstructed from Parish Records of the Sondondo Valley, Peru

This dataset contains structured records of individuals reconstructed from baptism, marriage, and burial registers of the parish of Aucará in the Sondondo Valley (Ayacucho, Peru), covering the years 1760–1921. The dataset includes normalized transcriptions of sacramental records, harmonized place references, and derived person-level entities designed to support prosopographical and demographic research on colonial and early republican Andean societies. Source tables, intermediate processing stages, and the code used for data normalization and entity extraction are included to document the transformation of archival records into a reusable research dataset.
