资源简介:
This entry contains two files. The "Full article data_Santero et al 2026" contains data that characterize the sales volume, efficiency, material composition and estimated carbon footprint for production, use and disposal by US state for all model year 2023 light-duty vehicles produced to be sold in the US, excluding fuel cell vehicles. These data constitute all key inputs and results that are publishable for the article entitled "Electrifying light vehicles in the United States shows emission reduction potential for all vehicle types and powertrains" published in Communications Sustainability. The second file contains all underlying data for figures published in Santero et al 2026. "Electrifying light vehicles in the United States shows emission reduction potential for all vehicle types and powertrains," to ensure reproducibility. As described in the full article, the majority of data used to define vehicles come from the 2024 EPA Automotive Trends Report. These data were provided to Rivian and UC Davis under a Freedom of Information Act (FOMA) request. The following data are provided for each vehicle: production volumes, segment, combined efficiency (MPGe), power, track size, and weight class. Battery capacity data is derived from information in the Trends dataset. The A2Mac1 benchmarking database was used to determine material breakdowns for each vehicle. For those vehicles not characterized directly by A2Mac1, an average breakdown for their powertrain type is used. The data presented herein are shown in aggregated form to comply with data licensing restrictions. The Transportation Energy Data Book is used to determine annual and lifetime mileage.Any use of these datasets should reference the published journal article
