Ecology Lab #2- Dataset 1

The following data was collected at York University's Keele campus. It took place on Sept. 24/2014 at around 4:00pm in approximately 20 degree celcius weather. A metal quadrat was placed on the ground encompassing an area of vegetation ten times in randomized areas. These areas were visually assessed based on the following characteristics: the percentage of coverage of total vegetation, the percentage of coverage of grass alone, the total abundance of plants in the quadrat, as well as the number of species of plants within the quadrat.
