The Andrew Crowther Hurley Guide to Records documents and contextualises the records of Andrew Crowther Hurley, who worked at the CSIRO Section (later Division) of Chemical Physics from 1953-1988. The records documented in the Guide are grouped into 13 series and cover Hurley's career in the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) Division of Chemical Physics, along with correspondence files, lecture notes and publications. The collection comprises of 205 inventory items, mainly paper format files. The total collection occupies 128 linear cm of shelf space (or its equivalent).
The Guide is the output of a research database. It was originally produced in paper format by the Australian Science Archives Project in 1989. It was later published online by the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre in May 2004.
The records were transferred to the Basser Library at the Australian Academy of Science (MS174). The collection was listed by Gavan McCarthy.
