Adenine Base Editing in iPSCs

To model diseases using iPSCs, it's best to use isogenic iPSCs corrected or mutated using base editing (BE). We created a population of iPSCs that expresses ABE8e adenine base editor under a doxycycline-inducible system at the AAVS1 locus, enabling quick and efficient gene editing. The ABE8e system allows for temporal control of gene editing to study gene functions and molecular pathways, making it a versatile tool for disease modeling and functional genomic studies.
