Intestinal 16S sequencing analysis of grass carp

Hepcidin links iron metabolism with innate immunity in the process of resisting bacterial infection. In this study, we investigated the effects of different hepcidin feeding methods as well as feeding hepcidin alone or its combination with chitosan on gut microbiota of grass carp. Our findings optimize the feeding pattern for better oral administration of CiHep in aquaculture.
