These files contain the data sets corresponding to the paper "Waves drive the rise and fall of 2D flows in rotating turbulence", by Sébastien Gomé and Anna Frishman. The data correspond to the analysis of direct numerical simulations of the 3D rotating Navier-Stokes equations, describing the evolution of the amplitude of the 2D flow and of energy transfers from waves to 2D flow with varying rotation and viscosity.Files 'Uprime_nu%%%%.txt" contain the measured values of the amplitude of the 2D flow with varying rotation rate, for each value of the viscosity. Files 'transfer_nu%%%%.txt" contain the measured values of energy transfer from the waves to the large-scale 2D flow, separated with the chiralities of the waves (Pi^ss and Pi^(s,-s) in the manuscript, as well as the total transfer T_{3-2}, which is the sum of the two.
