Research data for "Crises, fear and the rise of populist parties in Europe: The Romanian case - study"

The study starts from the observation that the number of populist parties in Europe has increased, they are increasingly vocal, and the number of supporters of these parties is also growing. To explain these phenomena, the present study starts from the ideas of backlash theory together with the Dual Process Theory and tests a series of hypotheses on the case of Romania to explain these phenomena.The information was collected from the official page of the Bucharest Court, social media (Facebook), and the parties' official pages. For the last one, we used the Google search engine.
