We performed single-cell RNA sequencing (10X) on human lymphatic endothelial cells (LECs) isolated from human skin and subcutaneous adipose tissue. The goal was to analyze the different sub-populations of LECs present in those tissues (e.g. capillary, pre-collector, collector), which would give new insights into the human biology of lymphatics vessels present in skin and adipose tissue. We isolated the stromal vascular fraction from healthy human skin and subcutaneous adipose tissue. Using FACS sorting, we then isolated human LECs and subjected them to single-cell RNA sequencing.
