This study finds that Metarhizium anisopliae CQMa421 can promote tomato seed germination by synthesizing and secreting salicylic acid. Studying the molecular mechanism of Metarhizium anisopliae CQMa421 promoting tomato seed germination provides a new theoretical basis and research direction for the development and utilization of entomopathogenic fungi in promoting plant seed germination.
