RIS Reader

RIS Reader brings the Austrian Federal Legal Information System (RIS) optimized to the iPhone or iPad. Thus, for example, you have all the applicable laws and the decisions of the highest courts comfortably in your pocket. The search masks, result lists and detailed views are tailored to the iOS device. Decision and law texts can be read comfortably with the Safari Reader view in different font sizes/fonts/background colors. The tedious zooming into the RIS website is no longer necessary for the supported databases. The documents called up (decisions, legal statements, paragraphs, legal journals, ...) can be noted for later or shared as a link/PDF/text, sent, copied, etc. Frequent queries (e.g. new publications in the Federal Law Gazette in the last week) can be individually noted and simply repeated. Practical cross-references and queries (e.g. legal sentences on the decision or BGBl on the applicable paragraph), even to external data sources (Parliamentary materials or implemented EU directives on the BGBl) are only a tap away. If you have an RIS document open in Safari, the "View in RIS Reader" function (share extension) redirects directly to the document in the app.
