Sequencing of an AOM enrichment from Amon Mud Volcano

In this project, we sequenced a methanotrophic enrichment retrieved from sediments from the Amon Mud Volcano (Mediterranean) retrieved in 2003 and maintained at the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology. The goal was to characterize the microbial community including the ANME-2c archaea responsible for the anaerobic oxidation of methane.
