Global Forest Change

Global Forest Change是一个全球森林变化数据库，由马里兰大学地理科学系的Hansen、Potapov、Moore、Hancher等人发布。该数据库基于Landsat影像时间序列分析，表征森林范围和变化情况，定义了树木高度超过5米的植被，并以百分比形式输出。数据库包含2000-2025年间的森林覆盖损失、森林覆盖增益和年度森林损失数据，为全球森林变化研究提供了重要数据支持。Global Forest Change is a global forest change database published by Hansen, Potapov, Moore, Hancher et al. from the Department of Geographical Sciences, University of Maryland. This database is based on time-series analysis of Landsat imagery, characterizes forest extent and changes, defines vegetation with tree height exceeding 5 meters, and outputs results in percentage format. The database contains data on forest cover loss, forest cover gain, and annual forest loss from 2000 to 2025, providing critical data support for global forest change research.
