Species occurrences of seahorses for 42 species

This folder presents the species data used in the manuscript "Predicting distributions, habitat preferences, and associated conservation implications for a genus of rare fishes, seahorses (Hippocampus spp.). It includes excel tables of species occurrences of 42 seahorse species from 1860 to 2016, originally from various online database and unpublished data from Project Seahorse. A text of data field explanation was provided.
