GeoLC‑8: A cross-domain land cover benchmark dataset for disaster response

GeoLC‑8 is a high-resolution remote sensing benchmark dataset for cross-domain land cover mapping in disaster response. It covers 12 regions across 8 countries on four continents, with imagery at 0.5–0.75 m resolution. The dataset provides 8-class annotations compatible with OpenEarthMap, pixel-wise confidence grids and traceable splitting schemes. It encompasses diverse landforms, seasons, atmospheric conditions and disaster-disturbed scenes, to evaluate the geographic transferability of semantic segmentation, domain adaptation and domain generalization models, supporting reproducible research on high-resolution land cover mapping.
