French opinion on prohibiting students from wearing religious symbols at school 2024

In March 2004, the French government approved a law prohibiting students from wearing conspicuous religious symbols at school. Twenty years later, according to a survey conducted in March 2024, a large majority of the French population is still in favor of this law. Indeed, around 82 percent of those surveyed declared themselves to be somehow in favor of it.

于二零零四年三月，法国政府批准了一项法律，禁止学生在学校佩戴显眼的宗教标志。二十年后，根据二零二四年三月进行的一项调查，法国民众中绝大多数依然支持该法律。事实上，大约百分之八十二的受访者表示，他们以某种方式支持此法律。
