Data set of supplementary material including 3D scan of decorated antler object with birch tar residue and chromatograms of experimentally produced birch tar reference samples using aceramic production techniques (CM = condensation method, RS = raised structure). Please note that all experimental samples contain two internal standards: hexadecane (n-C16) and tetratriacontane (n-C34), refer to main text for quantities.
