VPRS 6103 Register of Governor's Special Orders

This series consists of a bound volume which contains orders submitted by the Treasurer for the approval of the Governor. Individual orders relate to matters such as rates for pound fees, the issue of hotel licences, the issue of auctioneers licences and other areas of Treasury responsibility.Although these orders are identified as "special" orders, it would appear that this term was only used to distinguish it from schedules of authorities for contingent expenditure which were also submitted to the Governor. (Those authorities can be found in VPRS 1224.)The existence of further volumes outside of the date range currently held is unknown. The sole volume in this series was previously registered as part of VPRS 1224.
