Data for: Alexithymia in College-Aged Students

A total of 547 participants were collected from 48 postsecondary institutions. The Normative Male Alexithymia Scale and Toronto Alexithymia Scale were used to measure normal and clinical alexithymia accordingly. Attitudes Towards Seeking Professional Psychological Help was used to measure help-seeking behavior. Participants filled out these questionnaires as well as demographic information through an online survey.本研究从48所高等院校中共招募547名参与者。研究采用规范性男性述情障碍量表（Normative Male Alexithymia Scale）与多伦多述情障碍量表（Toronto Alexithymia Scale），分别评估正常性与临床性述情障碍；采用寻求专业心理帮助态度量表（Attitudes Towards Seeking Professional Psychological Help）评估个体的求助行为。参与者通过在线调查完成上述全部问卷及人口统计学信息的填写。
