A Comparative Analysis of Physical and Inner Structures in Human and Articial Intelligences Generated Poetry

This study aims to analyze the difference in physical structure between human-made poetry and AI-made poetry, analyze the difference in inner structure between human-made poetry and AI-made poetry, and analyze reader sentiment in analyzing AI-made poetry. The method used is comparative-descriptive analysis. A structural literary criticism approach is used to analyze poetry's internal elements: physical structure (diction, imagery, style, rhyme, typography) and internal structure (theme, tone, mood, message, ideology). This study also collected data on 54 respondents' comments from active literary activists, including writers, literary critics, and academics. The data were analyzed using sentiment analysis techniques. The results show that the inner structure matrix of AI's poems is rooted in Chairil Anwar's model. AI processed the Chairil model into a new variant with more explicit layers of gender issues, contemporary local identity, and socio-political criticism. The physical structure of AI's poetry consciously mimics the pattern of Chairil Anwar. The difference is that Chairil tends to be more subtle and symbolic, while AI is more explicit and more frontal in naming the enemy. Sentiment analysis of the 54 respondents' comments resulted in the following sentiment distribution: Positive: 36 comments (66.7%); Neutral: 12 comments (22.2%); Negative: 6 comments (11.1%). This distribution shows that the majority of respondents have a positive sentiment towards the poems generated by the AI.
