资源简介:
Programmed DNA elimination is a developmentally regulated process leading to the reproducible loss of specific genomic sequences. In metazoa, it occurs in somatic cells during early development leaving the germline genome intact. Limited comprehensive analyses of the genome changes have been carried out and high quality reference genomes for organisms that undergo DNA elimination are not available. This project is to build a near-chromsome level reference genome of Parascaris univalens and study the DNA elimination by comparative and population genomics to get new knowledge of the DNA elimination process.
