To explore the fungi in mouse lung and intestines that can be recognized and bound by Dectin-1, we used Dectin-1 Fc to extract Dectin-1-binding microorganisms from mouse bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and fecal samples. These microorganisms were then subjected to ITS sequencing to identify the types of fungi bound by Dectin-1 in the lungs and intestines.
