These datasets are associated with peaked-spectrum sources identified by fitting the Multi-Mechanism Hybrid Model to observational data, including GLEAM (Wayth et al. 2015), VCSS (Peters et al. 2021), SUMSS (Bock et al. 1999; Mauch et al. 2003), RACS (Hale et al. 2021), NVSS (Condon et al. 1998), and VLASS (Lacy et al. 2020; Gordon et al. 2021).
To cross-match GLEAM with VCSS, SUMSS, RACS, NVSS, and VLASS, we employed the Positional Update and Matching Algorithm (PUMA, Line et al. 2017). The matching angular radius was set to the FWHM of the MWA broadband images, approximately 2’20”. This process reduced the dataset from 307,455 sources in the GLEAM catalog to 225,909 sources.
The following data quality selection criteria were applied:
1. Frequency Measurements: Each source must have at least eight frequency measurements in the GLEAM catalog with a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) > 3.
2. Flux Density Threshold: A minimal flux density threshold was applied to ensure a reliable sample of peaked-spectrum sources. Based on the wideband images, the GLEAM extragalactic catalog achieves ~90% completeness for sources with a flux density of at least 0.16 Jy (Hurley-Walker et al. 2017). In this study, we selected only sources with $S_{200\ \text{MHz, wide}} > 0.16\ \text{Jy}$ , where $S_{200\ \text{MHz, wide}}$ represents the flux density in the wideband image.
3. High-Frequency Measurements: Each source must have at least one frequency measurement available in the high-frequency surveys (SUMSS, RACS, NVSS, or VLASS).
After applying these criteria, 97,976 sources remained in the dataset. We then fit the Multi-Mechanism Hybrid Model to these sources, ultimately identifying 4,315 peaked-spectrum (PS) source candidates. Most of these were classified as MPS sources, with a smaller subset classified as GPS sources.
