Historical and Projected Net Primary Productivity (NPP) in Central Asia Simulated by the WOFOST Model

This data set includes historical and projected NPP simulated by the WOFOST model and corresponding NPP observations derived from MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer). Note that all files are stored in GeoTIFF format with a spatial resolution of 9 kilometers. In this data set, Central Asia refers to the territories of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and China's Xinjiang Province. Data file 1 (history.zip) contains historical NPP simulated by the WOFOST model from 2003 to 2014. Data file 2 (pred245.zip) contains predicted NPP simulated by the WOFOST model under the SSP2-4.5 scenario from 2026 to 2050. Data file 3 (pred585.zip) contains predicted NPP simulated by the WOFOST model under the SSP5-8.5 scenario from 2026 to 2050. Data file 4 (validation.zip) contains WOFOST-simulated NPP, which are used to evaluate the model's performance, under the SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 scenarios from 2016 to 2019. Data file 5 (MODIS.zip) contains NPP observations derived from MODIS from 2003 to 2019.
