<p>We report all known records of the invasive jellyfish species Craspedacusta sowerbii Lankester, 1880 in Italy, from its first occurrence in 1946, using published records, personal communications, images from web-pages, and DNA sequences. 61 water bodies in Italy are listed till now. In total 83 basisOfRecord are included (79 LivingSpecimen and 4 eDNA) in the last version. This dataset is updated when a new record in Italy is available to the authors.</p>
