NJIAS Himawari-8/9 Typhoon Cloud Feature Dataset (HTCFD). Part I: 2016–2021
收藏资源简介:
The NJIAS HTCFD provides a comprehensive description of radiance and cloud features within a 20° × 20° longitude-latitude grid box surrounding the center of west North Pacific typhoons. It includes 36 variables, with 10 being the visible and infrared measurements from the Advanced Himawari Imager onboard the Japanese geostationary satellites Himawari-8/9 (i.e., visible and near-infrared albedo and infrared brightness temperatures). The remaining 26 variables are cloud parameters such as cloud/overshooting-top mask, cloud type, cloud top height, cloud optical thickness, cloud particle effective radius, and cloud motion vectors, generated using a series of cloud retrieval algorithms developed by Dr. Zhuge. As the first part of NJIAS HTCFD, this dataset covers the six-year period from 2016 to 2021, with a temporal resolution of 30 min and a spatial resolution of 0.02°.
