Raw demultiplexed GBS data for 50 isolates of tomato leaf mold pathogen Passalora fulva (syn. Cladosporium fulvum)

Little is known about the genetic diversity of the tomato leaf mold pathogen P. fulva. Symptomatic leaf samples from high tunnels in Minnesota and the Northeast were collected, and the fungus was isolated from the leaf samples. After race determination work, DNA was extracted from each isolate, and genotyping-by-sequencing occurred. The raw data was then used to do variant calling analyses. The data helped show that there is regional differentiation between the isolates, and greater genetic diversity than what was expected for a fungus that is only known to reproduce asexually.
