资源简介:
NASA’s Near-Earth Object (NEO) Surveyor mission is designed to find, track, and characterize Potentially Hazardous Asteroids (PHAs) and comets, with a requirement to find the majority of asteroids large enough to cause severe regional damage. Expected to launch in September 2027, the infrared space telescope will execute its survey of NEOs from a Sun-Earth L1 halo orbit. This paper provides a detailed update of the navigation design and performance relative to previous publications, including updates to the tracking plan, modeling of momentum desaturation maneuvers, and solar radiation pressure model parameterization. Sensitivity of the navigation strategy to mismodeling is also investigated.
