Loss of TREM2 diminishes CAA despite an overall increase of amyloid load in Tg-SwDI mice

Our study aimed to investigate the impact of germlineTrem2knockout in Tg-SwDI mice, a transgenic mouse model of cerebral amyloid angiopathy and Alzheimer's disease. Overall design: snRNA-seq was performed to explore the transcriptomic changes followingTrem2knockoutin Tg-SwDI. Six mice from two genotype groups(n=3 SwDI/TWT, n=3 SwDI/TKO) were used for snRNA-seq. Sequencing was performedusing Illumina NovaSeq 6000 with a sequencing depth of ~40,000 reads/nucleus. The estimated number of nuclei sequenced from individual samples ranges from 5700 to 8100.
