An all fibered NIR-LHR has been developed for operation in ground-based solar occultation mode. A 1x2 fiber optical switch is employed to modulate solar radiation, which makes the system more stable and compact. High resolution NIR-LHR spectra of atmospheric CO2 and CH4 were obtained by employing two DFB lasers (1.6 μm and 1.65 μm) as the local oscillators. After power calibration, the wavenumbers were precisely calibrated using a correlation correction method. Subsequently, an OEM and RFM based retrieval algorithm was developed for retrieval of the vertical profiles, column-averaged abundances and mixing ratios in dry air of atmospheric CO2 and CH4. Finally, the long term NIR-LHR results were validated by comparing the GOSAT results during the same time period, which indicates a uncertainty region of 0.15%-0.7% for XCH4 and 0.17%-0.5% for XCO2, respectively. The data set contains data such as relevant original spectra, atmospheric parameters and corresponding dates.
