The Murcia Region (Southeastern Iberian Peninsula) has a great diversity of Lepidopteran fauna, as a zoogeographical crossroads and biodiversity hotspot. A faunistic checklist is presented, including 23 species of the family Depressariidae in the Region of Murcia, of which 20 are recorded for the first time in the region, two confirm their previous presence, and one is known solely through literature. The Mediterranean-Asiatic chorotype is the most prevalent in the area, and the Mesomediterranean bioclimatic belt exhibits the highest species richness.
