Interpersonal Neural Synchrony as a Relational Mechanism in the Intergenerational Expression of Leadership-Related Traits

AbstractLeadership-related traits, including social dominance, empathic coordination, and strategic foresight, demonstrate moderate heritability while remaining highly sensitive to early neurodevelopmental conditions. Although genetic, epigenetic, and cultural explanations have been extensively documented, the relational neurobiological mechanisms through which latent heritable predispositions are selectively amplified across generations remain insufficiently specified. This paper advances a mechanistic framework centered on interpersonal neural synchrony, operationalized through limbic entrainment and its long-term consolidation via limbic entanglement. Using a theory-building single-case design, findings from behavioral genetics, developmental neuroscience, affective neurobiology, attachment theory, and historically documented genealogical context are synthesized to generate falsifiable hypotheses without invoking biological determinism. The manuscript is intended as a theoretical contribution suitable for interdisciplinary discussion and future empirical testing.
