Shp1 protein tyrosine phosphatase function in the early development of the hematopoietic system of zebrafish

We developed a ptpn6 knock-out zebrafish and found a disruption in the early development of the hematopoietic system. Marcrophage subpopulation size en numbers of macrophage progenitors differ between mutants and siblings. 5dpf zebrafish embryos were dissociated and FACS sorted. Macrophages (mpeg) were sorted in 384 well plates.
