Gene Profiling of Ileal-grafted and Stem Cell-grafted Regenerated Urinary Bladder Tissue

Segments of the intestinal tract are typically utilized to augment severely dysfunctional urinary bladders. This is often accompanied by numerous clinical issues. Here we demonstrate the use of stem cell seeded grafts in lieu of intestinal segments to serve as foundation for bladder tissue regeneration. In this study, we examine the gene profile of regenerated bladder tissue and intestinal tract augmented tissues.
