Streptomyces sp. strain A16 Suppresses Root-Knot Nematode and Modulates the Bacterial Community Structure and Functional Pathways in the Chili Rhizosphere

An experiment was conducted to evaluate the biocontrol efficiency of Streptomyces sp. strain A16 against M. incognita in chili, assessing its impact on plant biomass, nutrient uptake, and soil physicochemical properties. Furthermore, we employed Illumina next-generation sequencing (NGS) and PICRUSt2 functional annotation to elucidate the taxonomic shifts and metabolic reprogramming within the soil bacterial community following inoculation.
