Evaluation of coloncyte genes in TNBS-induced colitis mice treated with I3C

Transcriptome analysis was performed on enriched colon-dervied epithelial cells from non-colitis and TNBS-induced female Balb/cJ mice untreated or treated with indole-3-carbinol (I3C). We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression to identify distinct classes of upregulated and downregulated genes among experimental groups. A total of four samples were assessed with the following experimental groups: 1) Vehicle control, 2.) I3C treated, 3.) TNBS+Vehicle, 4.) TNBS+I3C. Samples were collected at experimental endpoint of the TNBS colitis model (Day 5). Colon-derived epithelial cells were enriched using PE-selection ket (Qiagen) from experimental mice.
