I. Top Level Description This dataset archives a simulation with Community Climate System Model version 3 (CCSM3) known as Isabel1, because it refers to the discovery by Isabel Montañez and collaborators in 2016 that CO2 levels during the Late Paleozoic Ice Age could have dipped lower than during the Plio-Pleistocene glaciations and refers to the first iteration of the experimental protocol. In a publication currently under review by Sardar Abadi et al. (2018), it is referred to as icehouse.noglaciation.lowco2. The simulation was run on the yellowstone machine operated by the Computational Information Systems Laboratory (CISL) of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) between 24 August 2017 and 14 October 2017.
