The file contains data on correlations among skull size and latitude for 44 species of carnivore.

Column definitions

1 = species name

2 = species common name

3 = sex, male or female

4 = latitudinal range for sampled skulls of each species by sex

5 = minimum latitude for each species natural range

6 = maximum latitude for each species natural range

7 = sample size by sex

8 = Spearman’s rho coefficient for latitude and condylobasal skull length for each species by sex

9 = P value for Spearman’s rho for each species by sex
