Caldes meat rabbit (kit) - cecal microbiota. Gut metagenome

Experiment based on the characterization of the cecal microbiota of a meat rabbit line selected to increase the average daily gain (ADG) during the growing period. These rabbits were raised under different management conditions (farms, foods and feeding regimes) that can influence their cecal microbial composition and diversity. A further aim of the study is to explore the relationship between the microbiota and the animal performance (growth and feed efficiency).
