The study was designed to collect data and provide insight into three questions: (i) to determine genome-wide watermelon methylome levels; (ii) to analyze changes in watermelon methylation associated with osmotic stress, and (iii) to evaluate the relationship between the changes of methylome and osmotic stress-related gene expression.
