RNA-seq analysis about Bacillus subtilis (p)ppGpp0 mutant and its suppressors. Bacillus subtilis subsp. subtilis str. 168

Bacillus subtilis strain deleting all (p)ppGpp synthetase genes (reffer to as (p)ppGpp0 strain) unable to survive on amino acid starved condition such minimal medium. We obtained suppressors of (p)ppGpp0 strain forming colony on minimal medium. In this analysis, we investigated how transcriptional change confer ability to survive amino acid starvation in (p)ppGpp0 suppressors.
