资源简介:
This project features the whole genome sequencing and genetic characterization of an advanced rice mutant line, designated NMR191, developed through ion beam irradiation and subsequent selection. The NMR191 line exhibits two key agronomic improvements: enhanced resistance to blast disease (Magnaporthe oryzae) and earlier maturity compared to its parental genotype. High-quality genomic DNA was sequenced using next-generation sequencing platforms, and the resulting reads were aligned to the reference rice genome. Variant calling was performed to identify single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), insertions, deletions (InDels), and potential structural variations associated with the observed phenotypic traits. Comparative genomic analyses were conducted against the parental cultivar to pinpoint candidate genomic regions and genetic variations potentially responsible for improved disease resistance and shortened life cycle. The genomic resources generated in this study provide a foundation for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying induced mutation in rice and support future marker-assisted breeding, gene discovery, and crop improvement efforts.
