These files relate to such matters as: constitution, regulations, auditor's reports, membership, complaints and minutes of meetings of various marketing boards (for example, Egg, Maize, Potato, Rice and Tobacco Leaf); overseas trade; establishment of fruit and vegetable markets; amendments to Marketing of Primary Products Act; financial assistance for research; results of economic surveys dealing with production costs; investigations into marketing; monthly production trends; reviews of climatic, pastoral and agricultural conditions; price fixation and primary production in general. Although the files were registered in 1954-74, the information within them covers the period 1926 to 1977.
