A dataset of 1km Grid Arbor forest land density in China(2022）

Arbor forests are important natural and strategic resources for the country, and they are also the foundation for the survival and development of forests. Arbor forests play a core role in ensuring the supply of timber and forest products, maintaining national ecological security, and also have a special position in addressing global climate change. The grid density of tree forests is a basic indicator for evaluating the endowment of high-quality forest resources in a region. Dynamic monitoring of it is of great significance for coordinating the production of wood and forest products, and improving the level of forest management. This article uses the 30 meter land use grid data from the 2022 National Land Change Survey, and uses kilometer grid production software to calculate the density of China's 1km grid tree forest through grid spatial calculation. This dataset can be used for research in areas such as national spatial planning, forestry resource planning, ecological asset value estimation, forest carbon sink calculation, and remote sensing sample library construction.
