Raw data supporting the results of Leaf Extracts of Coffea racemosa Inhibit "Trypsin Activity and Affect Larval Development in Spodoptera frugiperda and Diatraea saccharalis"

Leaf extracts of Coffea racemosa inhibit digestive trypsins and impair the development of two major lepidopteran pests, Spodoptera frugiperda and Diatraea saccharalis. While both species showed significant enzymatic inhibition, biological responses differed markedly. D. saccharalis exhibited high mortality, whereas S. frugiperda showed reduced growth and prolonged development. Fractionation revealed that low-molecular-weight, non-protein compounds are the main drivers of insecticidal activity, highlighting C. racemosa as a promising source of bioactive metabolites for pest management.
