Effects of afforestation on the temperature sensitivity of soil organic matter decomposition

This dataset provides raw measurements on the effects of afforestation on the temperature sensitivity (Q₁₀) of soil organic matter decomposition. It includes carbon mineralization efficiency, Q₁₀ values, soil physicochemical properties (e.g., SOC content, SOM recalcitrance), climate variables of sampling sites, and functional gene abundances. A total of 144 soil samples (topsoil and subsoil) were collected from cropland and afforested sites at eight locations in China.
