rRNA sequences from a microcosm study examining the persistence of soil microbes following 12 years of no plant inputs. Samples from the HJ Andrews Detrital Input and Removal Treatment control and no input plots. Soils were added to microcosms and half of these received douglas fir needle additions. Samples were incubated for 5 months. Following incubations RNA was extracted and rRNA was sequenced.
